Film and Panel Discussion on Poverty, Violence, & Food Insecurity as Social Determinants of Health (SDOH)

Panelists Include:

Tammy Thompson, Executive Producer "We Wear the Mask" and Poverty Expert, who will discuss her firsthand experience with poverty and with those she is working with through her position as Executive Director, Circles of Greater Pittsburgh.

Lee Davis, Life Coach at First Step Recovery and CEO, Lee Davis & Associates Consulting LLC, presenting about violence in relation to his work in the community implementing interventions and mentoring programs.

Helen Gerhardt, Grassroots Organizer at Just Harvest, will present about food insecurity and her work engaging low-income people learning about systems and policies that impact their lives and how to address change.
