Interdisciplinary Latino Research Initiative

The Center for Health Equity hosts a mentoring and networking initiative for anyone interested in research about Latinos.  The Interdisciplinary Latino Research Initiative (ILRI) grew out of frequent student requests for assistance in identifying Latino health resources and faculty expertise in this area.  ILRI meets regularly to write, discuss, and critique proposals and manuscripts in a supportive environment.  Several Focused Writing" sessions will occur this Fall.  In the past, colleagues from disciplines such as public health, education, social work, anthropology, business, medincine, dental health, and psychology have attended from the Universtiy of Pittsburgh, Duquesne University, and CMU.  We welcome all disciplines from any university and community affiliation!

All interested persons are welcome to attend the Spring 2017 Focused Writing Meetings at 9am-12pm, in Parran Hall Room 4128, Graduate School of Public Health--please bring your laptop
