GRIPS Inclusion in National Network of Hospital-based Violence Intervention Programs

The CHE GRIPS (Gunshot Reocurring Injury Prevention Services) Research Study is proud to be part of the National Network of Hospital-based Violence Intervention Programs (NNHVIP).  GRIPS joins dozens of NNHVIP programs from around the country (and the globe) in strengthening existing hospital-based violence intervention programs and promoting the development of new programs.  NNHVIP programs use post-assualt hospitalization as a window of opportunity to help people make a change for the better and share the common goals of preventing and reducing retaliatory violence, violent re-injury, and criminal involvement.  GRIPS staff sit on the Research and Evaluation Working Group.
