University of Pittsburgh
I am responsible for coordinating the Gunshot Reoccurring Injury Prevention Services (GRIPS), a hospital-based trauma intervention and part of the Violence Prevention Project of the Center for Health Equity. In 2014, I earned my MPH at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health in the department of Behavioral and Community Health Sciences. I also completed a certificate in public health preparedness and disaster response. In addition to violence prevention, one of my main health equity interests is disparities in emergency preparedness for vulnerable populations.
